Something else you won't have seen here before. In fact no-one's seen it anywhere yet.

There's a bit of a pattern going on so far for 2025 - we're managing to get displays for the very first time which have wowed airshow crowds before.

Team Raven have always wanted to come to Old Buckenham and we feel much the same way. Formations of identically painted aerobatic aircraft in the hands of the best formation pilots anywhere tend to be in high demand, and the award winning Team Raven are no exception.

But it's an outrageous claim for us to say that no-one's seen them. Millions of people have seen their thrilling demonstration of formation perfection; only really bested by a certain other team with nine aircraft who really like the colour red.

The bit that no-one's seen yet is seven black and white Vans RV8's (because that's what they are). Look carefully and you'll 'only' see six aircraft, mere feet from each other in these photos. At Old Buckenham those paying attention (and you will, because this is quite a spectacle) will notice that there are seven aircraft. We don't have a picture of that. It hasn't happened yet.

So not only is it another debut for us, it's also a debut season for the seven member Team Raven, the second biggest formation team in the UK. Three more aircraft and people with the red planes will feel distinctly outnumbered.
