  • WHICH AIRCRAFT ARE PERFORMING ON WHICH DAY?
Unless stated otherwise in the text, all aircraft displays are planned to take place on both days. This is, of course, subject to weather, the pilot's final decision and aircraft serviceability. For 2024's Airshow the F-35 is scheduled on Saturday 27th only. Other RAF assets, such as Typhoon and the Falcons are both days.
  • CAN I CHANGE MY TICKETS TO A DIFFERENT DAY
If we have availability for the other day then yes, you can change your entire order across. Please click here to access the booking management system. You'll need the email you used when ordering. If we've sold out of any of your ticket types for the other day then we can't switch your ticket across.
  • CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Yes, dogs are permitted so long as they are on leads at all times. Please bear in mind that there will be loud noises all day. We'll also have our 1 tonne dog watering point in the Centre of the Airshow.
  • WHEN DO THE GATES OPEN?
Gates open at 08:30 each day.
  • CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE GATE?
Tickets are only available online. We will not sell tickets on the gate. We are on course to sell out.
  • WHEN DO I GET MY TICKET? OR I CAN'T FIND MY TICKET
You will have received an email after ordering. This is your ticket. If you don't get one, please check Spam and Junk folders. If that doesn't work, you can find your ticket by clicking here. You'll need the email address you used to order ready to hand.
  • I DON'T HAVE A PRINTER?
Don't worry, please have your ticket ready for inspection on the screen of your mobile device.
  • WHERE'S THE BEST PLACE TO SEE THE AIR DISPLAYS?
When you arrive, we'll have placed maps in prominent locations and in the programme. The maps illustrate the best places to watch from; there are several hundred metres of prime viewing area.
  • I'M BRINGING SOMEONE DISABLED - WHAT FACILITIES ARE THERE?
Firstly, please ensure that you have a blue badge on display in the windscreen and follow the disabled parking signs. Once there, please wait for the disabled shuttle, a fleet of yellow London Taxis which will give you a lift into the show. The shuttle operates all day, each day, so if you need to go back to the car, please wait in the area you were dropped and hail the shuttle. On site we have plenty of disabled facilities and smooth grass in the Clubhouse area viewing sections. Do please note that most of the site is grass.
  • WHY CAN'T I BOOK CAMPING?
We're at the forefront of electric flight and have permission to supplement the UK's first charging point with another 5; all powered by solar. This development will cut across the Northern portion of the Camping field as was. We do not know the timescales yet, but as there is a possibililty that space and views will be diminished we've taken the view that we can no longer offer the Camping Package. If we can see a way of doing so before the Airshow we'll get in touch with all 2021 Camping Package customers first.
  • IS PARKING FREE?
We make no additional charge to ticket holders for parking (unlike other shows). Parking is exclusively for those attending the shows and we don't allow people to try to spectate from the parking area (for a start the view is terrible). We charge £100 per hour per car, and £100 per person for people and vehicles in the car park without a ticket. Persons without a ticket elsewhere on site will be prosecuted under the Air Navigation Order.
  • WHAT TIME ARE THE AIR DISPLAYS?
Displays start at 1230 each day and should end by 1730. All times are subject to change, mechanical availability and weather conditions. Keep an eye on the Latest News page over the Airshow weekend for the latest plan; we’ll also have screens around the Airshow grounds relaying information as it becomes available. The latest the air displays can go on is 1930 - this hasn't happened yet but the permission we get from the CAA and Restricted Airspace lasts until then so that our Flying Display Director can have flexibility.
  • ARE THERE CASH MACHINES ON SITE?
Unfortunately the banks won't let us have a cash machine. Cards are accepted at Information, the Attack & Destroy Bar and the Ice Cream Revolution. A number of the food and trade stands also take cards. We continue to work to get a cash machine.
  • WHERE IS THE AIRSHOW?
Please look for the yellow signs on the A11 and surrounding area. The best route is below, but please follow the signs. Please also plan ahead - the works on the A11 may delay those coming to and from Norwich. Google Maps pin for Old Buckenham Airfield is plotted at our entrance.
  • WHAT ARE THE RULES ON PICNICS?
Likely in 2024 Protective Duty Legislation, known as Martyn’s Law will come into force. It seeks to limit the possibility of an attack such as the tragedy at the MEN Arena in Manchester. In common with all other responsible events we are constantly monitoring government advice and our management team at the event have completed courses and are subscribed to updates issued by HMG. As a result of this we have determined that all bags are subject to search on arrival; this is carried out by trained and regulated security staff at our gates. Further, we are limiting the maximum size of any bag permitted on site, in a similar way that bag sizes are limited in aircraft cabins. The maximum dimensions of any one item are 30cm x 30cm x 40 cm which gives a 30 litre capacity. A maximum of one such bag per person, in addition to a handbag will apply. For those of you seeking to bring a picnic; the bag size limit above applies, as does our search policy. Therefore picnics are permitted so long as they are brought within compliant-sized bags. A bag of the maximum dimensions will be capable of bringing a sizeable picnic for 4 people. ANY item larger, including cool boxes, cannot be allowed in.
  • CAN I BRING A FOLDING CHAIR?
Yes. Most will be treated as a bag and are subject to search.
  • CAN I BRING A SMALL TENT/ SHELTER ETC?
Sorry, no. All such items will present a trip hazard to others, have the potential to be blown on the aerodrome and are not permitted either under our terms and conditions and indeed various pieces of Statute.
  • ARE TICKETS BOUGHT ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THIS SITE LEGITIMATE?
NO. We do not sell tickets anywhere other than directly using Ticket Tailor and on this website or by the same means via our Facebook Page. Anyone offering to sell on tickets is almost certainly operating a scam. Each ticket is coded and we will not permit entry to fakes which will be reported so that those responsible for misleading the public are stopped.
  • CAN I FLY IN?
Sorry, no. We have so many display aircraft we don't have space for others. CAP 403 makes clear that all display aircraft must be segregated - we don't have the space to do that in Airshow mode. We also, following what can only be described as showing off after an Airshow some years ago, only let our based flying school and Display Authorised pilots fly in front of 10,000 people. We simply can't risk those unqualified and unverified flying here. The Aerodrome is available 360 days of the year. The Airshow and Christmas are the only exceptions.
  • WHY CAN'T I BOOK IN A CLASSIC CAR?
We tried. Those of you who attended with Classic Cars in 2022 and 2023 will know that we had to to go extraordinary lengths in order to separate classic cars and the public and maintain safety. This followed serious issues in 2021. In 2023, the few finally ruined it completely for the many and so this year there is no separate classic car area at all. All vehicles will be directed into the main car park. For those of you who have brought your classic without issue for the last few years we will be directly in touch if we can see a way to incorporate your car in the main display area. Sorry, but safety comes first.
  • I WANT TO TRADE OR EXHIBIT AT THE AIRSHOW

  • WHAT ARE THE RULES ON THE BLUE LIGHT CARD DISCOUNT?
Blue Light Card Discount Tickets may be purchased by anyone with the card, one per card holder. Please present your card along with your ticket on arrival at the main entrance.
  • NONE OF THE ABOVE?
    Contact us below.
  • What are the rules on Bags and Trolleys?
BAGS Likely in 2024 Protective Duty Legislation, known as Martyn’s Law will come into force. It seeks to limit the possibility of an attack such as the tragedy at the MEN Arena in Manchester. They can be used to bring in folding seating only; provided that our security staff can check the contents quickly and easily. Any pockets, compartments, bags or otherwise which conceal contents must comply with the bag dimensions above.
